LeoProbe system has been developed based on the Electro-Optic effect (EO effect). The EO crystal is a dielectric crystal and not a metallic material, and the optical signal for detection fed through an optical fiber, so that the measuring portion (probe) is constructed with no metallic material, and does not affect the electric field measured.
